How are Pimples Formed – Basic Knowledge You Should Know to Prevent Pimples from Worsening
Normally, a woman’s reaction when a pimple shows up on her face is to feel insecure. As a result, she will become more interested to eliminate and treat the skin problem instead of identifying its causes. This kind of process is illogical and has no basis. It is more sensible to start identifying the causes of pimple formation and then to treat it based on its causes. Treating it immediately without identifying the causes might lead to complication and enlargement of painful pimples known as cysts.
The major cause of pimples is the clogging of bacteria and dead cells in the skin pores. Generally, every corner of your skin has bacteria. Red lumps or bumps occur when these bacteria enter and infect the opening of the pores. It will then become more complicated when pus is produced.
The hygiene of a person also determines the formation of pimples. Pimples will easily form if a person practiced poor hygiene. This is because poor hygiene permits the accumulation of dirt, bacteria and skin cells on the pores. Regrettably, pimples will also form from too much skin washing. In this case, it is wise to limit skin washing twice a day.
Another cause of pimples is by touching the face. You might not even notice that touching your face regularly with your unclean hands can cause pimples. Even if you are not touching any dirt, your hands may contain dirt and pollutants from the things you have touch, including your phone. More so, you might spread the infection if you unconsciously scratch your pimples.
Vulnerable people with weak immune systems are also susceptible to skin infections or pimples. Weak immune system is sometimes a result of stress, health disease or hormonal imbalances. During a woman’s monthly period, she is more susceptible to pimples because she is undergoing hormonal changes.
The diet of a person can also cause skin problem. Eating junk and fast foods that are rich in sugar and saturated oils can make any person susceptible to pimples. This includes chocolates, chips and burgers.
People with oily skin are more prone to pimples because oil can help block the skin pores. It is wise for people with this condition to wash their face at least once daily.
Finally, dry skin is susceptible to formation of pimples. It can build up dead skin cells faster and thereby blocking the pores. Drinking plenty of water can minimize the risk of pimple formation.
