Can You Get Rid Of Cellulite Through Weight Loss!

The issue of cellulite is something which really only affects women, and there are a number of underlying causes for this. Some of it is attributable to hormones, and particularly the female hormone estrogen which tends to promote growth on the hips and buttocks.

This is one area of a woman’s body where cellulite can be quite prominent, and it has the dreaded “orange peel” look. However a big contributing factor also is weight gain, and I contend that improvements would be very noticeable by weight loss alone.

Women may not be totally aware of the causes of cellulite, or that it is possible to take steps to deal with some of these causes. One thing is for sure, they detest the look that cellulite has on their appearance, especially
as it can be particularly prominent in certain areas of the body. they can decide to take steps to try and make it less obvious to others.

They could simply decide that it is a fait accompli, and accept themselves for what they are. Speaking as a woman, I doubt that that would find much favor, because women can be obsessive about this, and they should try not to be. Many many women are still very beautiful even though they have cellulite.

Another positive approach is to be proactive and determined in your efforts to overcome the negative effects that you will probably experience, simply
because you are aware of the fact that you have cellulite issues. Tackle the weight issue head on, decide what weight is ideal for you, and go on a strict diet to get there. Make sure that you change your habits and your lifestyle and exercise regularly indoors and outside. Concentrate on exercises designed to help strengthen legs and arms.

Examples of a more active lifestyle, and a planned exercise program can be relatively minor things. The exercises should be designed to help to improve the appearance of cellulite in the areas of a woman’s body where it is the most prominent, namely the hips buttocks, and thighs. All forms of exercise are beneficial, especially brisk walking whenever possible, but still the aim is to reduce the appearance of cellulite, so target the exercises to that end.

Investigate cosmetic and beauty treatments claiming to reduce the effects of cellulite. Experiment with as many as your budget will allow, and remember that the most expensive is not necessarily the best. A big factor in the composition of cellulite is fatty cells underneath the skin, so try massaging those areas regularly.

Many women elect to go down what I would describe as the more drastic route. There are surgical procedures available to treat cellulite, but they are very expensive, and success is not guaranteed. Procedures such as endermologie and liposuction are available, and modern medicine is advancing a a very fast pace. There will doubtless be more in the future.

Artificial Tanning – You should remove unwanted hair, on your shins especially, and then apply artificial tanning lotion or cream. This makes the fleshy part of your legs less noticeable.

How many times have you seen famous women and stars wearing flat shoes for example. Since as yet no one has come up with a permanent cure for cellulite, all your efforts should be directed at diminishing the effects of it on your appearance. Everything in this article is intended to help in this regard, but it will not bring perfection, only improvements as I said.

However until they do, and one day somebody just might, stay focussed on your overall health, take serious and meaningful steps to lose weight, and maintain a good exercise program. That way you can at the very least keep the whole thing in perspective, and maintain your self confidence at a much higher level than it would otherwise have been.
