Beauty Is A Quality That Shines From Within

It is often said that beauty is in the eye of the beholder, that to each of us allure has a different definition, yet how do we define attraction? Symmetry, a healthy glow to the skin, clear, sparkling eyes, well-defined and even features and a lustrous and shining head of healthy hair.

To be truly beautiful, you need to feel beautiful. To boost your confidence and self-esteem may seem like a daunting task, but you can begin by taking care with your grooming regime. Invest in yourself by choosing a more healthful diet and by incorporating a self-care regime into your daily routine that suits you. Taking time to pamper and care for yourself is the first step to feeling beautiful from within.

The skin is the first line of defence against the sun, the wind, the drying effects of the temperature fluctuations that we endure with the changing seasons and all the toxins in the air we breathe. Our diets often introduce a host of toxins into our bodies that affect the appearance of our skins, having a drying effect and even clogging our pores.

One important factor to ensure a beautiful skin is to ensure a healthy diet of fruit and plenty of vegetables. The intake of at least two litres of water each day to aid the skin in eliminating toxins is encouraged. The use of a gentle soap to cleanse the skin without stripping it to the point of dehydration is important. The facial skin is delicate and will require a cleanser designed for this delicate area of the body.

A variety of toners designed to suit your skin type are available on the market. These are applied after cleansing to remove excess cleanser and to tighten the pores. Remember to use products designed to suit your skin, keeping in mind that dry skin has different needs to oily skin.

Any beauty routine is simply not complete without applying a good quality moisturizer designed for your skin type. For day use choose a brand that has a good quality sunscreen to protect you from the damaging effects of UV rays. After a long and active day, cleanse, tone and then moisturize with a moisturizer designed to feed and revitalize the skin.

Eye firming creams are a good addition to any beauty routine and ensure that the extremely delicate skin around the eye area remains smooth and plumped. While focusing on the eye area it is relevant to note that you should invest in a high quality make up remover. A hypo-allergenic eye makeup remover is best as it is less likely to irritate the delicate eye area.

A much forgotten area of your beauty regime is the neck and decolletage area. Protect any skin that is regularly exposed to sunlight with a good moisturizer that contains a sunscreen. Focus on the hands and arms and use an exfoliating scrub twice a week for a polished glow.

There are many steps that can be taken to remain youthful and radiant. Hair removal, exercise, skin care, hair care and a trip to the beauty salon can all help this process.
