The biggest problem that I have with the drug is that it causes toxicity in the body and quite a few problems on your internal organs such as your liver as well. Accutane has been shown to have many “side” effects but honestly the drug is so toxic that it seems like everyone who get’s on it has health problems from it regardless of if they know it or not yet. Take my mother for example, she took it and got rid of her acne fairly quicker and it wasn’t until years later when my brother was born that the birth defect was known and then it wasn’t until years later after that she found out she had cancer and liver problems along with that. It has shown to have side effects such as crohn’s disease, inflammatory bowel disease, severe depression, suicidal thoughts, birth defects and liver damage and possibly even more.

I don’t know about you but this list is scary enough for me to stay away from this drug and not even consider taking it. Of course my personal experience will play into this because I have seen my brother’s accutane birth defect firsthand and it is not a health benefiting drug to take. My mother also had cancer years after she had my brother and had colon and liver problems and during that time they found traces of accutane in her body.
