Do you know what the largest organ in your body is? It’s your skin! Your skin is a living, breathing organ that serves many functions. It’s helps to eliminate toxins (one of the main factors that contributes to acne!), it also regulates your body temperature (that’s why you sweat–air conditioning!), and it protects you from harmful invaders.

By working with your skin and not against it you pave the way to an enhanced healing of the skin. Your skin will look and feel better; it will become more even toned and vibrant.

Many acne sufferers are doing exactly the WRONG things to eliminate their problem. It’s possible to do what “conventional wisdom” tells you to do and actually worsen your acne. If you do any of the following, it might be causing your skin to look unhealthy a sick:

Smoking. Smoking causes heart disease, cancer and the thinning of your skin. Your skin has to have blood flow to cleanse the toxins that cause acne. smoking will reduce your physical activity (exercise) which you need in order to be healthy and fit. In many ways, smoking CAUSES acne!

Using Topical Steroids. Be careful when using cortisone-based medicines. They can make your skin thin and cause redness and irritation. Cortisone creams can produce wonderful results in the hands of a skilled physician, but be careful not to believe the claims of drug manufacturers. Cortisone masks symptoms, it doesn’t cure underlying CAUSES. Try tea tree oil diluted in water instead.

Antibiotics: Antibiotic treatments like tetracycline can aggravate acne and also damage your internal “flora” as well. Antibiotics destroy all the bacteria in your system including the good, probiotic bacteria like acidophilus that have many important characteristics that promote clear skin. The “good bacteria” that live inside your digestive tract protect you from parasites and fungi. They can also stress and damage your liver, one of the most important organs responsible for the healing of your skin.

Four-In-One-Blades. During an active case of acne, you need to be gentle to your skin. Unfortunately, frustration and self-loathing due to acne can cause us to treat our skin rougher than we should. Using four blades instead of a single blade cartridge can cause severe irritation and, by slicing the “head” off a cyst, expose it to infection and scabbing.

Never use these four-in-one razor blades when shaving especially if you have large bumps and painful cysts. The reason is that blades that guarantee the “closest shave” will cause severe irritation and will damage your skin. Always use a single blade when having “live” acne.

Picking, Popping, and Squeezing. Never, ever, EVER touch, pick or squeeze your acne or zits! Even though there’s a strange sort of satisfaction that comes from extracting a zit, it’s not safe. Popping your acne will make your acne worse by aggravating your existing inflammations and pushes the puss deeper and into the pores of your skin. There are safe and effective ways of dealing with small whiteheads or blackheads but I strongly recommend leaving that to a skin care professional. Squeezing acne is almost guaranteed to leave scars on your skin that will NEVER go away.

Excessive Vitamin A. Concentrated doses of any supplement are not NATURAL and they are not always SAFE. Every year, people are hospitalized from overdoses of vitamins. Vitamin A is a fat-soluble vitamin, which means that it’s not easily flushed from the body, like Vitamin C. Vitamin A from green leafy vegetable and fruits can be very helpful in resolving acne, but taking too much can cause liver damage. Always read and follow the dosage instructions on the bottle. they’re there for a reason!

Steroid Creams for Rosacea. Over the counters steroid creams for Rosacea. This should be a no-brainer. Taking over the counters make your skin red and irritated is is downright DUMB if you’re suffering from rosacea. Always consult your dermatologist prior to applying over the counters on inflamed and highly sensitive skin.

When you are suffering from acne, it’s an indication that one or more of your bodies systems are not operating as they should. Acne is an indication that you need to re-evaluate your lifestyle. Rather than slapping some of the latest potion on your acne, take it as an opportunity to consider how you can change your lifestyle so you can be more healthy and vibrant.

Yes there really is a natural <noindex>treatment for acne and zits</noindex>. Before you spend another day suffering and before you spend another PENNY on acne medicines, visit <noindex>TreatmentForAcneAndZits.com</noindex> for news and ideas that can help.
